The veteran trombonist also brings his mad skills as a composer/arranger to another level with his 2009 album "A Little Somethin'." In addition to Gibson's stunning melodicism and harmonic delights, the program also features the musical and textural stylings of organ sensation Jared Gold, the fierce attack of alto saxophonist Julius Tolentino, and the hard driving swing of drummer Quincy Davis.
